Abolfazl Saffari has directed ‘End of The Earth’, a movie on a man famed as "Iranian Robinson Crusoe."
The movie depicts the life of Hojjat who is known as Iranian Robinson Crusoe. He is a middle-aged man, determined to go to end of the earth on foot until he dies.
The filmmaker has recently published a trailer of the movie which is being shown in the Art and Experience Cinema Group.
“Hojjat leaves his home in Northern Iran to walk all the way to the south of the country. Decided to go to the end of the earth on foot until he dies, he gains fame as Iranian Robinson Crusoe,” the movie’s plot read.
‘End of The Earth’ has taken part at a number of international film festivals so far, receiving some awards from events in Armenia, Iranian island of Kish, Geneva in Switzerland, and the Brazilian city of Sao Paulo.
